Tech-Speed Motorsport is one of the most respected teams in British motor racing with a history of success at all levels of the sport including British Touring Cars, British Formula 3 and historic racing.
Headed by Marvin Humphries, the team has three main areas of activity.
At the forefront of Tech-Speed's motor racing programme is a high-profile entry in the 2008 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship, with the team running a pair of Astra Sport Hatches for Turkish champion Erkut Kizilirmak and British racer Martyn Bell. In 2006, the team entered a Vauxhall Astra in the BTCC and the revolutionary project was powered by bio-ethanol fuel, the first time that alternative fuels have been used in the BTCC.
In historic motorsport, Tech-Speed is renowned for expertise in the preparation of classic cars and has recently been responsible for a pair of fabulous BMW CSL 'Batmobiles' racing at prestigious events across Europe.
The road car aspect of Tech-Speed centres on a wide range of developments and enhancements to the MGF. Expert in-house technicians can carry out performance, handling and styling developments to suit customer requirements.
